We would like to inform you about an upcoming scheduled IT maintenance for Technology and Digital Services (TDS). This maintenance is essential to ensure the continued reliability and security of our TDS environment. 

Maintenance Details: 

Date: Saturday 19 July 2025.  

Time: 6:00am – 6:00pm  

During this maintenance window, some TDS systems will be temporarily unavailable, maintenance is planned on the network. 

Purpose of Maintenance: 

Software Updates: We will be applying necessary software updates to improve system performance and security. 

Database Optimisation: Database maintenance will be performed to ensure data integrity and system responsiveness. 

Security Enhancements: We will implement security patches to protect against potential vulnerabilities. 

Network: Access to the on-campus wired and wireless network may be disrupted for up to 30-minute intervals, as well as a brief disruption to outgoing and incoming calls between 6:00am to 1:00pm. 

Action Required: 

Please inform all relevant team members about this scheduled maintenance to minimise disruption to your operations. 

For off-campus students: MyLearn and student email should NOT be affected, although the login may be impacted intermittently 

No work is planned on MyLearn. However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recordings) you require during the maintenance window. If access to units via MyUNE is not available, please access your units directly in MyLearn. 

Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) should be available throughout the day, although there may be a short interruption with the login.
