TDS next maintenance window is scheduled for a Full day Saturday 16th December 2023.

As a result, some IT (Information Technology) services will experience periods of disruption.

Staff and students working or studying physically on campus should expect intermittent outages as systems are restarted following maintenance updates. Network connections (including the wireless network) and internet access will be unavailable across campus during the day.

For off-campus students: Login to MyUNE, MyLearn, and student email may be impacted through-out the day.

Critical Updates

UNE will be undertaking some essential firmware upgrades to critical firewall infrastructure in our Sydney DCs (Data Centre) and on our Armidale campus.  There will be 10-15 minutes disruption to the Armidale campus between 09:00 am and 12:00 noon. Some applications in UNE’s Datacenters may also be similarly unavailable during this time.

  •  No work is planned on MyLearn. However, we recommend that you download any materials (such as readings and lecture recording) you require over the weekend to your local system to make sure you have access. In this case of on-campus network outages and disruptions that will affect connections to local systems. If access via MyUNE is not available, please access your units directly in MyLearn.
  •  Student Email (Office365 emails @myune.edu.au) may also be interrupted throughout the day.

This event is one of TDS’ scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems.
