ITD are currently tracking a major incident that started overnight. This will require an outage this evening outside of business hours, starting at 5pm.
At this stage it seems that the incidents are affecting a few services across the University including Room Bookings, secure printing (myprints) and scanning. Some Sheep CRC services are also affected including ASKBILL and RamSelect.
IT Staff have diagnosed the issue and are repairing the affected servers currently – which we are endeavouring to do without causing any further interruptions, however we can’t completely guarantee this as it is a complex inter-dependent environment. We will do our best.
In order to fully restore these services and de-risk the rest of the environment, we will commence work at 5pm today to perform the bulk of the work. This will require taking down several more services over the course of the evening, which is why it is being done overnight. Priority will be given based on restoring business critical functionality.

Student email is unaffected at this stage and Moodle access is available via https://moodle.une.edu.au.
