ITD will be performing maintenance on University systems and services this Saturday the 26th of November 2011.

The maintenance will commence from 6am and will complete by 6pm, as a result, a number of systems and services will be unavailable during this period.

For Students:

· All Students – ITD provided Teaching and Learning systems (including Moodle) may be unavailable from 6:00am until 12.30pm.

· On-campus students – ITD are performing upgrades across our phone and data network

1. Internet and network connectivity may be disrupted or periodically unavailable between 6:00am and 6:00pm

2. on-campus wireless network may be periodically unavailable.

3. The PABX phone system will be unavailable for at least one hour from 6am.

For Staff:

· Access to all major database systems will be disrupted periodically during the day.

· ITD are performing upgrades across our phone and data network

1. Internet and network connectivity may be disrupted or periodically unavailable between 6:00am and 6:00pm

2. on-campus wireless network may be periodically unavailable during the day

3. The PABX phone system will be unavailable for at least one hour from 6am.

· If you are working on Saturday, there will be  a number of systems which are intermittently unavailable.

· Staff email, MFD printing, photocopying and scanning  and other staff services will experience intermittent interruptions during the outage as we perform maintenance on our servers.

· The on-campus wireless network will be periodically unavailable during the day.

This event is one of ITD’s scheduled maintenance windows, during which essential work is carried out to enhance and improve University systems. The schedule of maintenance windows for 2011 and 2012 is  on the ITD website (http://www.une.edu.au/it-services/policies/ ).
