In accordance with the ITD’s scheduled maintenance window plan, the next maintenance event will occur on Saturday 15th May 2010.
ITD will be performing maintenance work between 6:00am and 1:00pm and as a result of this,
1. There will be disruptions to all services throughout this period. The nature of these minor disruptions is due to individual systems being updated and restarted throughout the maintenance window. These will be kept to a minimum and made as brief as possible.
2. MFD-printing and Unix mail services may be unavailable for extended periods between 6:00am and 1:00pm as data centre maintenance work is carried out
3. Elements of the University Network in the School of Education areas may be disrupted as additional switching capacity is added to that area
This event is one of a regular schedule of maintenance windows during which essential upgrades and maintenance improvements are applied to University systems.
