ITD is planning an outage to the Microsoft Exchange Server this Saturday starting at 8:00am.

 

This is to install the new SSL certificate and is expected to last for three hours.

 

This means no Exchange users will be able to connect to the Exchange system to retrieve mail during the outage.Mail will still be delivered, but it will be held on the backend servers until the full system has been brought back up.

 

The Exchange server is currently still in a pilot rollout phase and the outage will only affect users that have already been migrated (VC Office, Library and ITD). No student email accounts or non-Exchange staff accounts will be affected.
