System Outage: Saturday, 24 May, 9.00 am – 11.00 am – many databases affected

There will be an upgrade to our Oracle database systems on Saturday, 24^th May 2008. The upgrade will start at 9.00 am and is expected to be completed by 11.00 am. During this time most database systems will be unavailable, including Finance, HR and Student Admin systems, Online Teaching (Blackboard, Sakai, Esubmission) and User Registration system (such as password changes and account registrations). Email and Internet access will continue to work as normal during this outage.
