Here are the procedural steps to follow if your school is interested in implementing QuickSmart in 2020. Please do this as soon as possible, as training workshops begin in Term 1.
Step 1: Decide if you would like to start QuickSmart Numeracy, Literacy, or both.
Step 2: Go to our 2020 Workshop Calendar (https://simerr.une.edu.au/quicksmart/pages/pd-workshops-2020.php) (the page will be updated to include a calendar instead of the poll as soon as locations are decided) and choose a location that suits you for training.
Step 3: Download an enrolment form from the calendar, fill it out and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please also use this email for any queries you may have about any aspect of the program.
Step 4: SiMERR will confirm your attendance and update you with details when necessary.
Step 5: You will be sent out an activation code for your QS Dashboard account (which includes a download for the software element of the QuickSmart lesson) about two weeks before Workshop One. You can install this on your computer once you receive the code.
Step 6: Your school attends Workshop One. You will be given your flashcard kit and other resources to take back to your school. You will then be able to start implementing the program after this two-day workshop.
Step 7: You will receive a Research Agreement for signing a few weeks after attending Workshop One. You will need to sign this and send it back to us before we can send you your invoice for the program. Program costs can be viewed here: https://simerr.une.edu.au/quicksmart/pages/pricing.php
