A reminder that there are still spaces available in the upcoming QuickSmart Numeracy Refresher day, which takes place on the 9th of August 2024 (9am – 3.30pm NSW time)
The workshop will run online via the Zoom application and costs $150 (plus GST) per participant, with a maximum of 5 participants per school. Schools will be invoiced after the workshop.
Participants are required to have already completed their Basic Skills in the relevant program in a previous year. The school must also have an active QuickSmart licence.
The workshop is structured as a mix of presenter-led information sharing and participant-led discussion and feedback sessions. Agenda items include:
- Revisiting the QuickSmart Theoretical Framework
- Short progress reports from schools
- Unpacking the QuickSmart Lesson Components
- The Portal and QuickSmart Basic Skills Assessor (QBSA)
- Making Informed Decisions Using the QBSA
- QuickSmart Updates (Including Consent and Ascent requirements)
- The QuickSmart Numeracy Diagnostic Assessment
- QuickSmart Problem Solving
- QuickSmart Reporting and Results
