A new feature has been added to the Portal which allows instructors to switch to a learner’s Portal account without the need to log out or use a guest / incognito window.

This will significantly decrease the time required to access QBSA during a QuickSmart lesson, allowing more time to focus on the assessment.

To use this feature, please follow these steps:

1. Log in to your instructor / coordinator Portal account
2. Click into Class List
3. Click on the “Manage Class Users” icon on the far right of the appropriate Class
4. Locate the student who you are about to use QBSA with and click on the blue “Login this learner for a supervised session” on the far right
5. Click “Yes” in the dialog box that appears
6. You will now be logged in as the learner and can proceed with the QBSA lesson as per usual
7. When you are finished the lesson, click the “Return to class” button the left-hand menu (click “ok” if a dialog box appears)
8. You will be returned to your instructor / coordinator account

Please also note that an instructor cannot have two students logged in through the instructor’s account at the same time, e.g. on two separate computers, as this can make the saved test results invalid.
