The University of New England has been experiencing network issues over the past few weeks, resulting in an impact on the QuickSmart Portal and, subsequently, QBSA. This has led to frequent Portal connection dropouts and incorrect recorded response times in QBSA.

Given the effect on response times, we kindly request that instructors refrain from conducting their 2023 post-tests and 2024 pre-tests until further notice. Additionally, any post-tests carried out with QBSA after the conclusion of Term 3 should be disregarded if you consider the results to be inaccurate. We fully recognize the inconvenience this may pose to your schedule, and we sincerely regret that this has occurred at such an inopportune time.

Please be assured that the SiMERR IT Team are actively collaborating with the University’s IT Department to identify and implement a resolution. However, they are unable to provide a specific time-frame for the resolution at this moment. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to address this issue promptly.
