New QuickSmart Literacy materials have been added to the Literacy Resources area of the QuickSmart Portal. These packs can be downloaded and printed from the “QuickSmart Literacy New Instructional Packs” drop-down section for use with your QuickSmart students.

The new instructional packs include:

• 4 new Essential Words texts (to be used with existing Essential Words lists and flashcards)
• 4 new/revised Level 1 packs
• 4 new/revised Level 2 packs
• 6 new/revised Level 3 packs

Texts that include representations of Indigenous culture / knowledges have been sourced from material developed in respectful partnership with or on behalf of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, following the AIATSIS guide to evaluating and selecting education resources (2022).

We welcome your feedback on any aspect of these materials to assist in the enhancement of our program materials to meet student needs.

If you would like to purchase coloured, cello-glazed Flashcards and Word Meaning Game Cards for any of these packs, please complete the order form at the bottom of the “QuickSmart Literacy New Instructional Packs” section, and email it to quicksmart@une.edu.au. Flashcards plus Word Meaning cards are $30 (inclusive of GST and postage) per set.
