The SiMERR IT Team have been hard at work fixing bugs and working on new features for the QuickSmart Portal. Recently-added new features include:

Individual Student End-of-Program Numeracy and Literacy Reports are now automated!

Instructors were previously able to download a Word and Excel file, and manually enter in a student’s pre- and post-test results to create an individual “end-of-program” report for Numeracy. This process has now been automated, so once a student has completed their post-test in QBSA, an instructor can instantly create an individual Numeracy or Literacy report for that student by following these steps:

1. Log in to the QuickSmart Portal
2. Go to Reports on the left-hand side menu
3. Click on Numeracy / Literacy Program
4. Click on Download Reports and stay on the QBSA Reports tab
5. Select Result Year, Report Level (Learner), Class and Learner
6. Select “Word” for the Document Type
7. Select Model and click Download

PAT Adaptive results option now in the Pre- and Post-test Upload Data boxes

Up to now, instructors were required to manually enter PAT Adaptive results for a student into the comments of the Pre- and Post-test “Upload Data” boxes. There is now an additional button specifically for PAT Adaptive results in the “External Test Results” section of those boxes. (Class List > Manage Class Users > Upload Data).
