The QuickSmart Team are currently developing an online assessment application called the QuickSmart Basic Skills Assessor (QBSA) for use as an alternative to OZCAAS in Numeracy and Literacy face-to-face lessons.
QBSA will be accessed through the QuickSmart Portal and will run on any device with a web browser and microphone.
The QBSA Numeracy trial is now in its final stages (thank you to the schools that took part in it), and the Team are now looking for schools to join the trial for QBSA Literacy.
If you are interested in joining the Literacy trial, please send an email to quicksmart@une.edu.au with the title “QBSA Literacy Trial Expression of Interest”. A QuickSmart representative will contact you once the trial is ready to commence.
Please note that your school must already have the Literacy program and an active QuickSmart licence. Only 15 schools are required for the trial, and places will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
QBSA is expected to be released to all schools with a current QuickSmart Numeracy and/or Literacy licence in mid to late Term 4 2022. Full training documents and videos will be provided at that time.
Please call us on 02 6773 5067 if you have any questions regarding this. Thank you for your continued support of the QuickSmart programs.
