SiMERR is currently expanding its team and has two full-time positions available:  a Literacy presenter (Literacy Research Fellow) and a Numeracy presenter (Numeracy Research Fellow).  

These are exciting opportunities for QuickSmart trained staff and others engaged in basic skills programs, who may want to explore a different career direction on a short or longer term basis. SiMERR would appreciate your assistance in bringing this to the attention of staff that might be interested.

The presenters will:

• lead the presentation of professional learning workshops and support school teachers and assistant teachers to deliver the QuickSmart program to students;
• develop workshop materials and learning support materials for new and existing programs;
• assist the conduct of research; and,
• perform administrative tasks related to her/his duties.
