Precision agriculture Research-Lecturer Dr Mark Trotter has received a prestigious Science and Innovation Award for Young People in Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry. The award recognises “innovative scientific projects that will contribute to the ongoing success and sustainability of Australia’s agriculture, fisheries and forestry industries”. The award, presented in Canberra by the Chief Scientist ABARES (Dr Kim Ritman) and the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (Senator the Hon Joe Ludwig), recognises Mark’s leadership and impact in the area of precision livestock research.
