UNE School of Health alumna Mary-Anne Dieckmann was named an Emerging Leader in the Hunter New England Health excellence awards.

We would like to congratulate UNE School of Health alumna Mary-Anne Dieckmann who was named the local health district’s emerging leader at the Hunter New England Health (HNEH) excellence awards. Mary is currently a registered nurse in the Nioka palliative care ward. The third annual awards were presented by Health Minister Jillian Skinner after winners and finalists were selected from a record 239 nominees. The special guest at the awards was Louisa Hope, a survivor of the siege at the Lindt cafe in Martin Place, Sydney.
