The University of New England (and the NEGPRN) is one of the founding members of the NSW-ACT Practice-based Research Alliance which is supported by 9 universities. Our NEGPRN Chair, Professor Michelle Guppy is on the inaugural Steering Committee.
NAPRA aims to support and promote primary health care research in NSW and the ACT and to facilitate linkages and coordination to achieve scalable and translational multidisciplinary research at a state and national level with large datasets, sample sizes and populations representative of primary health care. NAPRA is comprised of PBRNs and primary care researchers committed to meaningful practice-based research by people working in primary care, to benefit the health of the communities in which they work.
