Video & Workshop: Searching effectively and using Google Scholar

UNE Library offers workshops to help students and researchers get the most out of the Library. Our sessions are often recorded for online students who can’t make it on-campus.

Did you know you can access Google Scholar from the Library homepage? Do you want some tips on how to search effectively? Experimenting with keywords and knowing how to put them together can bring you back the results you want quicker.

Searching Effectively & Using Google Scholar – this session covers:

  • Developing keywords
  • How to put keywords together in a database
  • Using Google Scholar to research for resources

The above workshop will run live, online and in-person, on Wednesday December 12th from 1:30pm – 2:00pm. You can register with you UNE email address to receive the link for the online session. Bring any questions about developing keywords and using databases!

Remember, you can contact the library at any time, via phone, live chat, email, or you can book-an-appointment.
