Darren Marshal, SQ Landscapes, PhD(I) student

#UNELaw PhD(I) student Darren Marshall recently spoke to the ABC about innovation in controlling wild pigs wreaking havoc in rural and regional QLD. He is working with the natural resources management organisation Southern Queensland Landscapes to make a difference. Natural resources management groups are helping to control wild pig populations. The wild pigs are quite bold when foraging for food, and come into residential areas. Apart from costing the agricultural sector $100million per year, it’s quite scary to come across a feral pig face-to-face on a casual stroll!

Well done, Darren and team.
