EQUIP’s engagement with communities vulnerable to environmental challenges continues.

Last week, members of our research team, Associate Professor Melissa Parsons and Associate Professor Warren Bartik, attended the Dundurrabin Community Centre (Blicks River) AGM chaired by Clarence Valley Councillor Debrah Novak.

They met with the centre’s new management committee and introduced the EQUIP project, in the hope of fostering interest from Dundurrabin’s 120 residents and their future participation.

Our team will return on 3 August for a community food and market day and to facilitate a community meeting about future uses of the community centre. Councillor Novak also invited us to present to Clarence Valley Council on EQUIP.
