To improve security, ensure long-term sustainability, and better integration with UNE systems, we are transitioning from the University of Sydney (USYD)-hosted version of Cogniti to a locally hosted UNE instance.

Most staff have been using Cogniti via the original USYD-hosted platform (app.cogniti.ai). While that version will remain accessible until early 2026, all new development should now occur in UNE’s own platform: https://cogniti.une.edu.au/

What’s changing?

LabNext70 has migrated a large number of existing agents to the UNE-hosted platform. If your agent was moved, you will have received a direct email from our team. Agents created more recently in the USYD instance may not have been transferred.

From Monday 25 August, the tool that embeds Cogniti agents into myLearn will be updated to support only the UNE instance.

What you need to know

  • Agents embedded in myLearn for Trimester 2 will continue to function as normal
  • Rolled-over agents for Trimester 3 will also continue working without changes
  • The USYD-hosted platform will remain accessible until 2026 (exact date TBC)
  • All new agents for use in Trimester 3 onwards should now be created in the UNE-hosted platform: https://cogniti.une.edu.au
  • To request agent allocation, please email LN70@une.edu.au after logging in

We’re here to help. If you need assistance transferring agents, updating links in myLearn, or have any questions, contact us at LN70@une.edu.au.
