As part of the Assessment Architecture implementation in T1, 2026, UNE will disable the TurnItIn AI Indicator that has previously been available through myLearn. The TurnItIn AI Indicator is not required under the Assessment Architecture because AI use in Learning Tasks is unrestricted, and Assurance Tasks occur in controlled environments where inappropriate AI use detection does not rely on the TurnItIn AI Indicator.
The TurnItIn AI Indicator will be turned off on Wednesday, 18 February 2026. All other TurnItIn features in myLearn will remain unchanged
