The Academic Skills Office invites you to promote the tUNEup program (26 May – 22 June) to students who would like to strengthen their academic writing and/or maths skills.
The program includes tUNEup Your Academic Writing and tUNEup Your Maths. Students can self-enrol using the embedded links here.
The writing course covers essential academic writing and library research skills. The maths course focuses on early algebra and pre-calculus material.
Each course allows students to interact with teaching staff and receive tailored support.
Students have commented on the program:
“…I am very glad that I signed up for the tUNEup course—it helped me get my brain in gear. I have even used it to start developing a checklist for writing reports.”
“…The Academic Skills Office has also been incredibly useful, particularly the self-paced tutorials and being able to book an appointment and see my work from other perspectives…by providing these resources, UNE allows me to focus on learning. It is a rather pleasant change.” (Student transitioned from UQ to UNE)
“The quizzes and practical activities helped me understand any gaps I had. The program was well structured and easy to follow.”
Thank you for sharing this opportunity with your students.
