The Academic Development Team is pleased to launch the Generative AI in Teaching and Assessment module for staff, designed to assist staff in understanding Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) and its impacts on teaching, learning and assessment. The module is fully online and self-paced, and offers information and guidance across a range of topics relating to teaching and assessment:
- Overview of GenAI
- How to think about GenAI in your teaching context
- Assessment considerations and assessment design
- Managing academic integrity
- Communicating with students around GenAI
As an informational module, it should only take around an hour to complete – you can work through at your own pace and you can return to or reference the content at any time. The module is delivered through myLearn and is open to all staff – click through below to self-enrol in the site.
