With results released to students yesterday, the T2 assessment period has now concluded, capping off an intense and productive few months focused on transforming assessment at UNE. Here’s a quick review of the trimester that was:
- Key proposals for Assessment Policy drafted – consultation now complete and will be tabled at Nov Teaching & Learning Committee
- Draft Assessment Framework launched
- New integrated business process for OLX implemented
- New business process for alternative assessment applications piloted with Psychology
- Special Assessment Uplift project was successfully HEPPP-funded
- OLX practice showcased in national and international forums
- Over 12,500 OLX sittings across 7,100 students
- OLX monitoring data: technical issues improved around 25% over T1 while satisfaction rate remains consistent around 85% – as always, performing well ahead of the sector on these metrics
It’s been a huge trimester with staff across UNE collaborating with real commitment to assuring quality and driving positive change. We’re now looking forward to T3 and the opportunities it brings.
