Some of the Cotton Hub members headed to Narrabri this week to sample for UNE1601. The trip reputedly consisted of the ‘A-Team’ with A/Prof Brian Wilson and Elijha Fortescue, on her GRASS placement, joining us. Elijha needed some soils for the work she’ll be undertaking this week and was not phased by the >40oC temperatures we enjoyed. We’re gald to say that we managed to get done all we needed ahead of an impending irrigation and got back to Armidale safely, to enjoy the cooler weather!
