As you are no doubt aware, swine flu is currently a major global health issue. A number of suspected cases have been reported in New England, and UNE is taking advice from NSW Health on how to prepare for an outbreak. An isolation room has been established at the UNE Medical Centre, and the University is in regular contact with the Local Area Emergency Management Committee.
