About
I am a Uniting Church minister, serving as Chaplain to the University of New England in Armidale, NSW, Australia. I am interested in peace, justice, environmental sustainability, multi-faith dialogue and finding out about other places.
I enjoy cooking, reading (mainly fantasy fiction and theology), dark chocolate, walking (but not by myself), watching movies and discussing them with others afterwards and spending time with my family (although they might say I don’t show this last very well).
I am also enrolled in a PhD in Studies in Religion here at UNE and am the postgraduate member of the UNE Council. My area of studies is the Realm/Kingdom parables in the Gospel of Thomas, how they relate to their parallels in the canonical synoptic gospels (ie Matthew, Mark and Luke) and what they might tell us about the community in which the Gospel of Thomas was written.
