2010 Draft Timetable Available

Wednesday, October 28th, 2009

The Timetabling Unit would like to advise that the 2010 Timetable is available in draft for review by Academic Staff. This draft will include both on campus units and room allocation information for intensive schools for all teaching periods in 2010.

To access the draft timetable go to http://www.une.edu.au/timetable and choose the appropriate link in the right hand column.

You will notice that there is a new look and feel to the Timetable web display for 2010. We hope that this new look will make it easier for both staff and students to view class timetables online. Academic Staff who wish to view their own ‘staff timetable’ can log into the application, on the top right hand side of the page, to obtain this function. A vodcast providing information on how to navigate the new display will be added to the site in the next few days. In the interim, if staff members are having difficulties using this application please feel free to email the Timetabling Unit at timetabling@une.edu.au or via the Contact Us tab in AskUNE for assistance.

The 2010 Timetable will be available in draft until Friday the 6th of November 2009. Change requests will be received up to this date. This closing date has been set so that the timetable may be ready in preparation for the commencement of student enrolments.

The Timetabling Unit would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues in ITD for their hard work on the new Timetabling application and we look forward to introducing the UNE Community to the various new functions that this application performs.
