UNE Open Day – Friday 4 May & Saturday 5 May 2012

The Friday ‘Schools Extravaganza’ as the title suggests, is themed to students currently in Years 11 & 12. It will be a huge day with heaps of cool activities, entertainment, giveaways and exciting demonstrations. Students will have the opportunity to check out courses that may be of interest to them, meet the lecturers, and get a feel for campus life. They can take a tour of the UNE learning, living and sporting facilities, and meet existing students. In other words, Friday is your day to explore UNE and find out everything you need to know to make an informed decision about your future.

Activities

There will be a number of activities on Friday including:

  • Free breakfast in the college
  • Academic advice
  • College and Campus Tours
  • Free games and entertainment
  • Library Tours
  • Demonstrations
  • Course advice and information sessions
  • Free Lunch

Saturday is an informal day aimed to cater for students who wish to study by distance education, Postgraduate students, prospective students who can’t make it to the Friday Open Day, and to parents who may want to delve a bit deeper into what university will offer their son or daughter.

Attendees can participate in Campus, college and sporting tours and ask questions in a more personalised relaxed atmosphere.
