ACADEMIC BOARD: Meet your student reps; why it’s important; details

Published On July 23, 2012 | By ED | News

Katja Ingham and Alexander Davis are your students reps on the Academic Board – that’s important to know! Here’s why: “Academic Board is the principal academic body of the University. It furthers and co-ordinates the work of the Faculties and other academic units, encourages scholarship and research, and advises the Vice-Chancellor and Council on matters relating to teaching, scholarship and research within the University. Academic Board also considers and reports on matters referred to it by the Council or by the Vice-Chancellor.”

I have had trouble trying to find out such info as:
    * who are our student reps, what do they do, what is the group name they are affiliated with, how do we contact each of them

    * found out about SARG_SPEC = undergrad reps for several matters, Academic Board, Teaching & Learning & something else
    * is there a postgrad one like SARG_SPEC?
    * undergrad student reps on Student Association or Guild or whatever it is called & how to contact them
    * postgrad student reps on Student Association or Guild or whatever it is called & how to contact them

Can we have a ‘Student Reps’ link on the http://www.une.edu.au website with full details please?
