NEW STUDENT TIP: Webmail; 20min timeout; write long emails offline first!

We’ve been talking to students over the past couple of days who’ve experienced the ‘dreaded 20min Webmail timeout’ (where mysteriously while writing you lose everything you’ve done) … actually it’s there for security purposes but if you’re going to write a long email, always do it in a word processor first and then cut and paste into webmail. That way you won’t lose all that great work you’ve be slaving over to get your point across.
