IT: Security certificate update; what to do
Just spoke to Martina at the IT Helpdesk about a ‘Untrusted Connection’ warning when you try to log into myUNE (I’m using Firefox on a mac so it might look a bit different in Safari or Explorer in Windows). Apparently it relates to UNE’s security certificate and you will need to click ‘I Understand’ (or ‘Trust Certificate’ in Explorer). According to the IT Helpdesk, there’s no risk to your system and the certificate relates to our security settings.
On my system the error looks like this:

I clicked on add exception, got another error message, clicked OK and was able to log in. IT helpdesk is just about to add a post to their site so as soon as that’s done I’ll give you the link.
There is no risk to your system and this kink should be ironed out by the end of the day.
