EXAMS: Need to change your exam location? Do it before Oct 21.
From Kylie in the Examinations Unit: “If you would like to change your exam centre, you must contact the Examinations staff directly and as soon as possible with the details of your request. The easiest way to do this is through AskUNE (link from the top of every UNE web page).
Please be aware, late exam centre changes will incur a fee of $30 - this late fee will be charged from 21st October.
If you have nominated an examination centre overseas, there is a A$200 charge for each exam. Students with an overseas exam centre should read the examination instructions carefully regarding this arrangement and advise us directly and asap if you will not be attending your exams arranged overseas.
Feel free to contact the staff in Examinations in the Student Centre (via AskUNE) if you have any questions or require any further information or clarification, and remember that your exam supervisor is there to help you.
And don’t be afraid to raise your hand during your exam if you encounter any problems.”
Hi there!
I finally figured out where to find details on my examination place…
Student ID: 220063438
Name: NATHASJA RUTH SPRONG
Unit Code: JAPN102-Japanese Language 1B
Date: 20/11/2009 Start Time: 09:15 Duration: 02:15 (Including 00:15 Perusal Time: )
Location: 06510JAPA - OSAKA
However I have to work this morning (Friday, 20th November).
The next monday is the 23rd however… in Japan it’s a public holiday and the next day (Tuesday, 24th) I have to work again.
So far, I have needed to get extensions for all my assignments because my text book was 3.5 weeks late (coming in the mail from Australia)… and it has been too difficult to catch up (so I’d rather you didn’t book the exam time earlier).
I can ask my lecturer for an extension - if that’s what i need to do.
But Wednesdays are in general the best day for me.. as I only work at night time.
Is it possible to book the 25th November or 2nd December???
Kindest Regards
Nathasja Sprong
and (so sorry to pester) can my exam NOT start at 9am in the morning.. (it takes a bit of time to travel around Osaka).
Hi Kylie
