HECS CENSUS (March 31) - What you need to know and do about it … [UPDATE]
Posted on March 23, 2009 by ED
This time of year we always get loads of questions about CENSUS date and what it means, so we grabbed the quick answer from AskUNE:
The census date is the last day that you can withdraw from a unit without incurring any financial liability. If you withdraw from a unit after this date you will still be liable for any fees and charges relating to this unit. Census dates and other important dates are outlined on UNE’s Principal Dates website. More information can also be found at the Australian Government’s Going to Uni website.
So if you need to withdraw from a Unit you’d better do it before Tuesday afternoon.
