Referencing - where to go for help.
Posted on March 18, 2009 by ED
Hi peeps,
The Student Support posse has heard from a bunch of students who are cracking into their first assignments and can’t get their heads around referencing … so here’s where to go for help.
Head on over to the Academic Skills Office and then into the UNE Referencing Section. Depending on which degree you’re in you may have to use a different system so make sure you’re getting the correct info for your course - if you’re not sure, have a chat to your Unit Coordinator.
The ASO also has a great fact sheet on Referencing which you can download here.
- Appendices (68k)
- Author-date Referencing Examples (96k)
- Avoiding Plagiarism (44k)
- Electronic Referencing Examples (124k)
- Footnoting (104k)
- Using quotes (author-date system) (32k)
- Using quotes (footnoting system) (48k)
- Writing an annotated bibliography (32k)
