UNE IT Systems down for a bit tomorrow am
Brian Cameron from IT got in contact with the Student Support posse to let everyone know there’s some IT downtime this weekend … check the message for full details:
As advised previously and in accordance with the ITD’s scheduled maintenance window plan, ITD will be performing maintenance work between 6:00am and 12 midday tomorrow (Saturday Feb 21).
As a result of these activities all University administrative systems will be unavailable; network access, including internet access and the University online services will experience disruptions throughout the duration of the maintenance window.
In addition after this outage and over the remainder of the weekend ITD will be running several systems processes as part of the final preparation for commencement of Semester One teaching.
As these activities are intensive in nature if you access the university learning management systems (i.e. Blackboard or Sakai) during this time you may experience some performance degradation.
Should you require any further information or wish to provide feedback in anyway please contact the Service Desk team on 02 6773 5000 or via servicedesk@une.edu.au.
We thank you for your co-operation and apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Hi Brian
I was just wondering why I can’t see any links to open my units online?I was under the impression it would be up & running by 23rd February as the notices on the student website has informed us. Is this normal? When should we expect to have the access?
Thanks,
Theresa
Hi Theresa,
Probably best to go straight to your Unit coordinator (search under courses and units) from the homepage link and send an email through to find where it’s up to.
