It is our pleasure to draw your kind attention to the 39th St. Gallen Symposium, which will be held from 7-9 May 2009, at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. On the occasion of the “3 Days in May” 600 decision-makers from the fields of business, politics, society and science and 200 of the most talented students will get together in a dialogue across generations and cultures. This year’s discussion will centre around the topic “Revival of Political and Economic Boundaries”.
Every year, the competition for the St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award offers students throughout the world the unique opportunity to take part in the St. Gallen Symposium. With annually around 1,000 entries, it is the world’s leading student competition of its kind. The St. Gallen Wings of Excellence Award calls on committed and critical students of all fields of study and from all over the world to deal actively with the topic and to enrich the dialogue of the St. Gallen Symposium with an additional perspective. The contribution can be deposited in form of an essay, a video or even a multimedia presentation.
