THANKS TO THE SCHOOL OF EDUCATION: On Wednesday, August 27th , Dr. Helen Caldicott will give a lecture on “Ecological Refugees & the Human Response to Global Warming”At the Auditorium of the Armidale City Bowling Club - 5.30pm - $20 and $10 for students

Dr. Caldicott is the most articulate and passionate advocate of citizen action to remedy the environmental crisis. As the co-founder for Physicians for Social Responsibility, she has devoted the last 35 years to an international campaign on the medical hazards of the nuclear age and the necessary changes in human behaviour to stop environmental destruction.

Her lecture in Armidale is supported by the Armidale Sanctuary Humanitarian Settlement organisation, as part of its Human Rights Lecture Series.
