If you have days off during the holidays or between lectures this could interest you …

Rural property owners and contractors in the New England area are looking for fit, enthusiastic people to help with their wool harvesting operation. The wool harvesting season commences about the middle of June and goes through to about the middle of October. This work is casual and can range from 1 day at a time to several weeks depending on the employers requirements.
New England Institute of TAFE are conducting 2 week Shearing and Wool Handling courses commencing the 30th of June 2008. No previous experience is required. The cost of the course can be as little as $50.

All necessary equipment is supplied.

Successful completion of the course will provide you with all the necessary skills to obtain employment in an industry that has a shortage of wool handling staff.

Numbers are limited so enrolments will be taken on a first in basis.
