First Assignment
How’s that first assignment coming along? No need to panic. Now is a good time to go back through your unit material to make sure you haven’t missed anything. This is especially important if you are doing more than one unit
1.Is there a reading guide/suggested timetable? Are you up to date with these? Make some time to catch up this weekend
2. Are you clear on which assignment is due when?? - mark these dates on your calendar and in your diary. Colour coding your units can be very useful.
3. Do you understand what you are being asked in your next assignment? Spend time analysing the question and look to your unit notes, readings, class discussions and textbook for additional clues.
4. Do you have to make a regular online contribution to a discussion or forum? Are you up to date with these? If you are having difficulty accessing your online material or discussion space, please let your co-ordinator know.
Feeling a bit bit better now? Keeping things clear in your mind and not allowing yourself to get too far behind can ease alot of stress and make study a whole lot more enjoyable.
Don’t forget the Academic Skills Office and Library e-skills sites have heaps of information to help with your assignments - links to these are in the blogroll on the right hand side of this page
