Design a SHAPES logo
Dear students,
Voting for your favourite logo has now closed and the results have been tallied. Logo 4 came in as the most popular, followed by Logo 5, then Logo 3! The creators of these designs will be contacted directly and prize money of $200, $100 and $50 will be awarded to each of them. Congratulations to these students and thank you to all students for the works submitted, and to those who took time to check out the designs and put in your vote. Well done!
Logo 4 will now form the basis of the design to appear on t-shirts and other SHAPES materials from 2010.
Regards,
Annette
Dear students,
Thank you to those creative students who submitted SHAPES logos. We have had 2 late entries that I have allowed because it is not often you get to showcase your creative talents. As mentioned below, the simplest way for you to vote for your favourite logo is to email me direct asteven2@une.edu.au . Images are called logo 1 through to 7 (reading from left to right, from the top). Just indicate in your email the number of your favourite logo. For logo 5 (which is 4 images in one), please indicate which image you prefer (colour on black, colour on white, white on black or black on white). You can only email one vote. Results will then be tallied and made available on this blog next week. Prize winners will be directly notified.
Good luck,
Annette
Dear students,
The deadline to submit logos for the SHAPES program has been extended to 9am Monday November 9th. Why not have a short break from your studies and put your creative talents to the test? You can use free clip art and graphics to make your design- which can then be emailed as a jpg or pdf. I will post all entries on this page by Monday afternoon, after which time you can vote for your favourite logo. I was unable to set up an online survey tool, therefore the easiest way for you to lodge your vote will be to email me at asteven2@une.edu.au . Only one vote per person will be permitted. Results will be made available on Monday 16th. Look forward to your designs.

Students living on campus are invited to submit a logo/design to create a new, fresh look for the SHAPES Program at UNE. SHAPES stands for the Sexual Harassment and Assault Peer Education and Support program at UNE. Our current design, which was designed by a former SHAPES Representative or “Rep”, has served us very well, but it is now time for a change.
Any student in the colleges/residences can submit as many designs as they want (something that could appear on the sleeve, back or front of the T-shirt worn by SHAPES Reps). Designs/logos need to include the acronym SHAPES. The designs can be colour or black and white. All designs/logos must be entirely the work of the entrant.
Designs need to be emailed (as a PDF or JPG) to Annette Stevenson at asteven2@une.edu.au by Friday November 6.
All images will then be posted onto the SHAPES blog by Monday November 9.
Please note that this is not a competition in that works will not be judged, but will be determined by students who can vote for their favourite design or logo, using the survey tool that will appear on the blog. The survey tool will be set up such that you can vote only once. Voting will be open from Monday November 9 to Sunday November 15. Results will be tallied and will be made available on the blog on Monday November 16.
First prize of $200 will be awarded to the most popular design. There will be a second prize of $100 and third prize of $50. Prize winners will be notified by email on Monday November 16.
Please note that the SHAPES coordinator reserves the right to not accept any logos that are potentially offensive or not in keeping with the SHAPES ethos. The SHAPES coordinator also reserves the right to reproduce designs/logos free of charge in any publication, product, website or blog. Apart from this, copyright resides with the designer.
We look forward to your creative designs.
