FMS wish to advise that there will be an interruption to the following area due to works being undertaken:
Location: Arts Building (EO11)
Issue: All staff and students please look at the attached floor plans and letter to check if your rooms are going to be the ones affected. The bold areas on the plan will have absolutely no access during the works, and some offices will be non-accessible (see plans attached).
Reason: FMS will be conducting repair works in building E011. In order to conduct plumbing rising repairs it is necessary to remove some pre-existing Asbestos lagging around piping in the building. FMS has engaged a specialist contractor to manage and execute this activity, please see attached for further information. Attached is a statement from the contractors explaining how the process will proceed and what controls they have in place.
