Problem connecting to UNE pages (including Moodle) from Telstra USB modems – Sunday, 2nd October 2011

Sunday, October 2nd, 2011

We had reports from students of problems connecting to UNE pages from Telstra USB Next G modems (USB sticks / dongles).

We have spoken to Telstra and they have been able to replicate the problem and have confirmed that the problem is at their end – it is now with Telstra 3rd level support and is being looked at by Telstra.

If you are using a Telstra USB modem, you might not be able to connect to UNE pages (amongst other pages) at the moment – please, if you can, use an alternative connection for now (wired or other wireless).
