ITD will be performing maintenance on University systems and services this Saturday the 11th June 2011.

The maintenance will commence from 6am and will complete by midday. Only a small number of systems and services will be unavailable for brief periods.

For current students and future students:
With the exception of Moodle (see below) there will be no major disruption to any of the online teaching systems during this maintenance. Other systems may be unavailable for brief periods (maximum of 10 minutes) as systems are being restarted.

Moodle will be unavailable for scheduled maintenance for about 1 hour between 7am and 10am to test the disaster recovery setup for Moodle.

For Staff:
Impact will be minor. Some applications and services will be unavailable during brief brief periods (maximum of 10 minutes) as systems are being restarted.

Please note that the Service Desk will be providing telephone support as usual (9am to 5pm) so if you experience any unusual problems please email servicedesk@une.edu.au, contact them via AskUNE or call the Service Desk team on 02 6773 5000.

This event is one of a regular schedule of maintenance windows during which essential upgrades and maintenance improvements are applied to University systems. The schedule of maintenance windows for 2011 is  on the ITD website (http://www.une.edu.au/it-services/policies/ ).  Please check these dates before planning any events that may require I.T. services or support.

Schedule times may vary to cater for important events such as residential schools and notices regarding the schedule of maintenance windows will be posted on the ITD Services Announcements web page before each scheduled window.
