In order to carry out an upgrade to the UNE staff wiki service (https://staff.une.edu.au/wiki) , the UNE staff wiki will be unavailable Saturday morning between 7.00am and 11.00am. The upgrade will significantly increase the speed of the application. The default theme for wiki spaces will change slightly. If you are experiencing any problems after 11.00am or need help navigating the wiki new theme, please contact the IT Service Desk on 02 67735000, via AskUNE or by email (servicedesk@une.edu.au).

Interruption to AARNet/Internet service on Monday 28/2/2011.

The University’s internet service provider, AARNet has advised ITD that there will be an interruption to the internet service on Monday 28/2/2011 between 6:00am and 7:00am. AARNet expect the outage to be less than one minute in this outage window. This will impact all network communications coming into and out of the University including web connections, email, and Skype.

A number of students have reported a “Portlet Error” in the MyUnitsAndServices portlet (the table that list all your units and links to different systems). For the majority of students, simply clicking “refresh” in the error message fixes the problem.
