Notice of Disruption to Services – FMS Cleaning Arrangements over the Christmas Break

Facilities Management Services (FMS) wish to advise staff that the last clean of all buildings (toilet blocks, kitchens, tearooms only) will be carried out on the afternoon of Friday 24th December 2010, prior to the Christmas/New Year break.  This will mean there will be no rubbish collection or cleaning performed from that night until the night of Tuesday 4th January 2011.

Cleaning will commence at 12.00pm on Friday 24th December, any areas conducting Xmas Parties on that afternoon will need to advise Quad Services on ext 2310 or email cleaning@une.edu.au  to ensure food scraps etc are disposed of to outside bin receptacles.

F.M.S. and Quad Educational Cleaning Services would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy holiday.

Issue:  Loss of Power

Reason: Connection of  Switchboard to new Cattle Facility

(Please note: Make sure all computers and any other sensitive equipment are shut down prior to this time. )

Brief downtime of “login” service – Tuesday, 21st December, 8am

Due to an update to one of our services, the “login” service will be unavailable for about 5 minutes on Tuesday, 21st December, 8am.

During the downtime of about 5 minutes, you will not be able to log in to applications such as MyUNE, Esubmission or activate / reset accounts and account passwords.

Please re-try logging in after a few minutes.

(Alternative parking for the Eastern Carpark is the Carpark to the east of Clarks Road.  For the Botany Carpark please use the Southern Carpark)

Notice of Disruption – Temporary Loss of Five Quarter Hour Parking Bays

FMS wish to advise that there will be an interruption to the following services due to works being undertaken:

Location(s):  Along the side of the road across from the main entrance to the Northern Carpark.

Issue:  Loss of five Quarter Hour Carparking Bays 

Reason:  Loading and unloading of material for replacement footpath around Yarm Gwanga (C019). 

Date(s):  Wednesday 15 December 2010 for approximately two weeks (weather permitting)

Time(s):  All Day
