Update 9.30am Tuesday: Access to all system has been restored, with the exception of access to Blackboard via the MyUNE portal. To access your Blackboard units, please use the direct link and log in at http://olt.une.edu.au.

Update 10:30pm: Problems still persist. ITD is still working on the issue and we are hoping to have the problem resolved soon.

Update 4.30pm – Hardware failure has caused further instability and service disruptions are continuing with central administration systems (Alesco, Callista, Finance One, etc), web based services and access to  the Virtual Learning Environment including Blackboard, Sakai and myUNE.

The hardware equipment supplier has staff in transit to Armidale with replacement parts and we expect them on site this evening to install and restore stability. ITD staff will be on hand to ensure that systems are tested and normal service restored once the new parts are installed.

We do expect this instability to continue until this activity is complete.

Update at 1.30pm – Access to the main administrative databases has been restore. We are, however, still experiencing problems with SAKAI (even accessed directly)  and are working on the problem

We are currently experiencing problems with some of our databases. This affect the MyStudy portal in MyUNE, the Allesco staff database (including webkiosk) and other applications based on an Oracle database.

The systems are being restarted and all services should be restored very soon.
