We are currently experiencing some problems with the portal and some of the “portlets” (eg in the MyStudy tab)
If you see cogwheels with a “Channel Timeout” error, please try to click on “refesh the channel” a couple of times - the problems is often resolved on the second or third attempt.
However, if the timeout persists, please access your units directly (bypassing the portal).

Issue: Turning off heating for Summer
Reason: With the onset of warmer weather, FMS will be turning off the heating systems across the Academic Campus. FMS will monitor weather forecasts via the Bureau of Meteorology web site, and will attempt to anticipate any significant downturn in conditions. College heating will remain enabled until requested otherwise by the office of the Residential Administration System.

Reason: As a consequence of yesterdays power problems Country Energy will take power off the Kleenheat Gas Plant at the corner of Madgwick Drive & Clarks Road. To reduce load on the plant, all University heating systems have been turned off for today.
